Fun Things in Seattle

West Seattle Alki Beach

West Seattle's Alki Beach is a less well-known landmark of Seattle that we are fond of. It is not too crowded, easy to get too and a respectable beach on Puget Sound in West Seattle. The address is:

1702 Alki Avenue Southwest, Seattle, WA

It is 8 miles by car from the wedding venue.

Space Needle

The Space Needle is Seattle's best known landmark, and you can take the tour to the top for a great view of Seattle. The cost is $18 for an adult ticket but it is worth it to do it once. The address is:

400 Broad St, Seattle, WA

Pike's Place Market

Pike's Place Market is a historic farmer's-market type area right in the heart of old Seattle. The first Starbucks ever is here (at 1912 Pike Pl), and you can see the original Starbucks logo, a naked mermaid. Pike's Place is home to the famous fish throwers. The address is:

1st Avenue and Pike Street

Pike's Place is about a mile from the wedding venue.

Columbia Tower

The Columbia Tower is Seattle's tallest building. If you are in Seattle on a Monday-Friday, there is an observation deck on the 76th floor (or something like that) that is well worth it. In addition, there is a starbucks on the 40th floor, which is free to go to, and probably my favourite coffee place in the whole world.

The address is:

701 5th Avenue
